Area: V.Q.P.R.D. zone of Peza.
Vineyards: Selected non-irrigated vineyards, at an altitude above 500m.
Soil: Argil calcareous.

Microclimate: Long-lasting summer dryness, intensive sunlight. Despite blowing of warm south winds, development of high temperatures is been prevented by surrounding mountains and chilling north winds.
Harvest: 24-30 August.

Alcoholic degree: 12,10 % Vol.
Residual sugars: 2,30 gr/lit.
Total acidity: 5,36 gr/lit.

First year of distribution: In 1999, of the 1998 vintage.

Winemaking: Picking and transporting of the grapes, is being done, in small plastic containers. First stages of alcoholic fermentation, following prefermentation clarification and inoculation of selected yeast strains, are being held in stainless steel tanks, at 18° C. Before the end of alcoholic fermentation the semi-fermented juice is transferred to new French oak casks and left to mature for 3 to 5 months.

Characteristics: A wine with golden glints and a nose offering citrus and lime aromas, with hints of grapefruit and peach. On the palate, its elegant acidity balances the tropical fruit flavors and the creamy vanilla notes arriving from oak cask maturation provide a smooth, rich, mouthwatering texture. Its subtle complexity prolongs the long pure finish.

Serving Suggestion: Enjoy it with grilled fish, seafood, Chinese food, white meat. Best served at a temperature of 12° C.

Accompaniment: Excellent with chicken in a curried cashew sauce.
